臘八掃塔法會 Bodhi Day Ceremony
臘八佛陀成道日
暨紀念開山祖師惟覺安公老和尚紀念塔掃塔法會
In honor of the enlightenment of the founder of Buddhism, Shakyamuni Buddha, and with deep appreciation for the compassionate aspirations of the founding patriarch, Venerable Master Weichueh, who dedicatedly established Chung Tai and guided the sangha, Chung Tai Chan Monastery, and all its branches, will host a special ceremony on January 17th (Lunar 8th day of the 12th month).

* If you have already registered at the Monastery, please arrive on time on the day of the event. If you have a black robe, please wear it during the event.

個人在家用功流程建議如下：
- 禮佛三拜
- 南無本師釋迦牟尼佛 (三稱)
- 開經偈
- 恭誦《金剛經》或《心經》一部
- 七佛滅罪真言（三遍）
- 回向
If you’d like to recite Sutras at home at your convenient time, the suggested schedule is as follows:
- Prostration/Half bow to the Buddha (3 times)
- Namo Fundamental Teacher Shakyamuni Buddha (3 times)
- Sutra Opening Gatha
- Recite either “Diamond Sutra” or “Heart Sutra“
- Dedication of Merits
